Local Surgery with Police Community Support Officers 11 May 2022 2022

PCSO Pashov and his colleagues at Faversham Police Station will be holding a local surgery in Dunkirk Village Hall on Wednesday 11 May 2022 between 2pm and 3pm.

All members of the public are welcome to attend the surgery to discuss any matters or concerns they may regarding policing in the community.

M2 Selling Road Expansion Joints

M2 Selling Road Expansion Joints

Message from National Highways:

We'll shortly be carrying out work to rectify expansion joints on the bridge which carries Selling Road near junction 7 of the M2 Motorway.

The works will require us to fully close the bridge on Tuesday 19 April, Wednesday 20 April and Thursday 21 April from 8.00pm until 6.00am the next morning. Selling Road carriageway will be opened each morning.

Next Meeting 12 April 2022 to Discuss Plans for Queen's Jubilee Celebrations

A further meeting will be held in the Queen's Head Public House, Boughton to discuss ideas and plans for Boughton and Dunkirk villages to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee in June. This will take place at 7.30pm on 12 April 2022.

Update regarding tender process for grass cutting and maintenance contracts

Our news item 14 March 2022 outlined the intended process and timescales for the tendering of grass cutting contracts, which are due for renewal.

The specifications for the new contracts was due to be discussed at Council meeting 21 March, which itself was postponed until 28 March 2022 due to illness.
